About Us

Herptastic Reptiles was founded by Chris and Jennifer Chappell several years ago after realizing that there were no rack or cage builders offering custom designed containment for their own reptile collection.  After heavily researching, a few other factors became apparent, namely customer service was the biggest complaint of almost any customers.

So, we went to work with the idea that a great rack or cage from a small company that actually cares about their customers is exactly what everyone needs.  Boy did we hit the nail on the head there.  We have gone from running a 1-1/2 week backlog to 3-4, to 6 weeks, something we are not happy with at all.

To that end - Herptastic has expanded.  We now have a small staff of skilled artisans working with us to make sure that we can get orders out in a timely fashion.
